I made a thread a while back about whether or not to trust Ebay or Play.com. I asked my mates if Play.com is trustworthy, and they said it is, but my mum still refuses to enter her credit card details onto the net. Is there anyway I can order my DVD's off play.com without posting my mum's credit card information onto the website?

I use it all the time I must have spent around £400 on there had no problems. There is no reason why you shouldn't use it. All the things I have ordered have arrived on time.

Yes, but my mum doesn't want to tell them her credit card information, so is there anyway she can ring up via the phone, or post w/e. :s

The only time that you see your credit card details on screen is when you enter them to buy the product. From then on they are displayed as stars and are not viewable by anyone.

Well ebay is done through paypal which is a completely safe method of payment. I've purchased off both play.com and ebay and it's fine.

I always use www.play.com www.ebay.co.uk and www.amazon.co.uk and I have never had any problems. The only one to becareful of is ebay but if you look for a high feedback score and the item looks fine you should be ok.

Thanks for all the feedback folks. I'll ask her later if she will enter her details.
