As quoted from the Habbo Hotel UK Homepage.
04/01/2006 - Important Information - ALL Read Please
There are some nasty scamsites around at the moment, when you visit them they close your shockwave, then reload the Hotel View with a fake version of Habbo so, when you log in they can steal your password. To keep your account safe, if your Habbo disconnects, ALWAYS close your browser and open a brand new browser to log back into Habbo.

I kept trying to get on Habbo this morning before the maintenance break. Everyime I got on it said it was loading stuff, it displayed the 'problems connecting' screen and dc straight away. Minutes later, the hotel went down for maintenace. That wasn't a scam site was it? I'm pretty sure it was just not letting me on because of the maintenance.
When I was a noob Very long ago ;P I fell for that scam and got hacked by syntax

They know very well about them as that was why the first HK access happened, MOD-MyFairLady logged into www.habbohotel.in, so theyve known about it for ages.
