The new ps3 official release date is out and it is (drumroll please)
Early May
The RRP will be around £260 and I know this because my dad works in retail and he found out yesterday.

My dad brought the email home it is around £260 to keep inline with Xbox 360.

It was set for mid 2006... I'm not sure if i'll get it though, as I probably wont have enough money.

indeed it was but as alot of mags reported its been set back to late 2006 but most rekon early 2007

The prices were set at £260 at woolworths to keep inline with xbox HOW MANY TIMES.

A Sony spokesperson who spoke to gamespot said it will be around $600
about £350 but as usual ill prices will be bumped up

Last I heard, the PS3 was going to be released late April early May, so yeh I knew about that, But I reckon £260 is a fairly poor estimate. I'd go with £350-£400.
And if everywhere else was going to sell for £400 and Woolworths sold for £260, then who would be making profit? Most shops will sell around the same price, if not £5 cheaper or dearer, so yeh, I doubt it.

well thats isnt true as if you watched the program on ITV1 a while ago its ment to be this april or next as they dont want to have the same date as halo 3
