It depends whether you want a free or a paid forum.

Paid - Vbulletin
Free - Invision power board v1.3

i put other cos MyBB is quite good its basically vBulletin but with more features. It just doesnt have many templates out yet. If not MyBB then vBulletin, If u want a free 1 Invision lol!

vbulletin becuase i dont know what the others are. you have to pay for this one too so yeh.. and this forum is vbulletin. which makes me happy.

ipb 1.3 aint free, 1.2 is free.
Ipb 2.1 is by far best forum software
Vb dispite being hyped is actaly a pretty crapy exscuse of a forum software

Not legaly, 1.3 was made after they went corprate, and under there corpete copyrights, 1.2 is free, 1.3 thogh aint "/

I would still say that vbulletin is the best even though it costs the most you get lots of extra features. Also I would say that vbulletin is much more customasible.

lol, Vb and customisable in the same sentance... :P Ipb 1.x are by far the most customaiable, followed by phpbb then the newer ipb 2.x
the 1.3 were devopted to be customased its why there so easy to work with, 2.0 follows that theme but dosnt achive it as well without the free forum software community it once had
