I'm so annoyed about this sever busy thing. And the post limits etc. while tryin to make this thread i got sever busy 9 TIMES :@ and i had to write this out at least 11 and i tried the whole wait 5 - 15 secs and refresh NO DIFFERENCE and the post limit is annoyin me for example when i wnna post "you must wait 7 seconds " "You must wait 1 seconds" :@ how long will this be for? :eusa_wall

If the server message wasn't in place then the whole server would just lag and would crash more often. Therefore causing more problems.

Or press refresh ater you pressed submit. Keep pressing it, through the server message, and after. Then it submits.

Moderators know what is pointless double posting and what is done because of forum lag. If the same message has been posted like 5times at the same time then it is probably server lag.

If you keep pressing refresh without leaving a period of time (usually 10seconds) then you are sending more commands for the server to process therefore you are going to have to wait longer.

The amount of users is irrelevant, it is the amount of people trying to browse topics and forums at anyone time, remeber that there is around 140 people online and they are all trying to do their different things, it is obviously going to send alot of processes to the server.

The forum is set to only allow up to 175 users on at anyone time to limit server load.

As I said earlier super moderators get the message the same as everyone else. We do not skip the que it is only admin who can do that as they have server permissions.

Deleting all the banned users will not help as it is not due to the size of the database, it is the amount of online users.

I can assure you that super moderators get the same amount of server messages as normal members get, only administrators can skip the que.

If you were to let more people onto the forum at anyone time it will just increase the amount of times you get the message.

Normal users - 70%
VIP's 65 %
Staff 64 %
S.Mods - 40%
Admins - 0% ;]

It is affecting everyone there is nothing that can be done to stop it until the new server is inplace. Until a few technical issues have been sorted the server cannot be moved.

And its not the server space which is causing lag, the server space is MASSIVE

Im very sorry for all the problems. We ordered a new server now to host the forum on. So if there are no complications we might be back on full strength in a few days.

Super Moderators do not lie they do have to follow the restriction (what a dumb comment what would be the point in them for lieing?)

The reason it is taking long is, Have you tried shopping for a god damn dedicated server? The amount of technicalities involved and emails that need to be sent is just riddiculous.

If it takes months it takes months, although we dont want it to take months or ever weeks. We want to get the best server we can so we never have this problem ever again! So while we are hard at work sipping tea and coffee to keep us perky during the early hours of the morning, the least you could do is stop hounding at us.

If they were not decreased the server would just crash and the forum wouldn't even be up, it would cause more problems trying to get it working again.

Admins obviously have to skip the message as they need to keep the forum running.
