Okay heres the problem-o's
I put in for my work experience and there were 3 good choices so I put them down In order of goodness. Tesco was the last one on my choices sheet. 2 weeks later I got my Permision Form thingy and When I opened it, it said
Working Hours 8am - 5pm
Which wasnt what It said first! It's a whole hour longer!:@
Next I didn't hand In my Form because I forgot and I just thought "ocht well I didnt want to go since they changed my hours" and that was fine but today I had a "work experience interview" and they didnt seem to notice that I didnt have my form so I am going to it now :s
Finally get to work in the branch of tesco that Is crawling with neds :'( lol
I guess I'll just chalk this one up to fate and get on with it :$
Do you have any nightmare work experience tales to share?

I did my work experience around 6-7 months ago and I got on fine. Stephen your ours could have changed as the working hours are subject to change :P I am sure if you ask your manager when you start they will let you go a little earlier.

Mine was ace ;D I loved it, they paid me and gave me chocolates and a big card when I left too :P
I was at an accounting place.
I had to pick 6 ones first and i got none of them, so they made me pick again and it was all the rubbish places that were miles away.
I worked in a fish and chip resturant which was popular place but i hated it. I got £40 at end of it though...the only good point about it.

I got half an hour shortened than what it was said to me like first they say from 7:30am to 4:30pm then from 8:00am to 4:30pm. I love it, I was working in office, people there was very nice, they make me tea, give cookies and stuff. They are like friends to me. But only thing I hate is you don't get paid :P

I still havent picked anything for work experience and our forms needs to be completed by 1st of Feb, :(
But its stupid because on the database where you choose your job all it has is like Macdonalds and Kebab shops. I DONT WANNA WORK IN SOME CHEAP GREASY KEBAB JOINT FOR 2 WEEKS! Lol, that would go down well with my mum, "what have you picked for work experience?", "Ali Kebabs".
Lol. I need to sort it out fast.

I'm in this programme called NRF and we get to go on work experience every Tuesday afternoon but it's finished now. We don't get to pick where we go they just gave us it. I was in a nursery but it was really good but boring sometimes. Now that we have done it we have to sit in the class room for 2 hours on a Tuesday afternoon and write about health and safety. It is really boring. My week's work experience though was great. I really enjoyed it. I went to a infant school and i worked as i assistant reception teacher. It was really good. Good luck with your work experience i hope you enjoy it.

Got mine later this year. But you can't refuse your placement because of the hours. If you do that when you're older you're going to get nowhere. "/

Iv gotta ring up some place tomorrow.
I dont like ringing strangers.
All you do at seemingly decent places is get drinks.
DO NOT do solicitors/lawyers anyways
