A good morning/afternoon/night to you all.

This post will stretch on the borders of 'news' precisely but it can be defined so on the basis that no one knows exactly all the details of this.
This is about New Habbo. I define New Habbo as the end to user-freedom and answers to a lot of emails. It was back in November 2004...when Callie signed on for HM, and Jibbi left under suspiscious circumstances.

This news is to tell you just how much your pound/dollar/currency unit! has dropped.
Let's start with the snowglobe.

At it's peak of 60 Thrones, the snowglobe was given as a gift, or a freebie. Let's say someone traded 40 thrones for one, for the purpose of this excercise.
1 Throne, let's round off to 20 HCS. Each HC is worth 70 credits. 70 credits on UK in Australian dollars is $20.3.

That's roughly 400 dollars. Over four hundred dollars, actually.
Let me see...that's $16000 dollars if someone traded for 40 thrones. Over 1600 AU dollars, actually. That's a massive 6,841.26 GBP

Unlucky for those that traded. Might've been Sulake's decsion but let's go on, shall we?

Jibbi practically no rare in her reign. When she finally did, the speakers corner became the worst valued Rare every.
But Callie has released over 10 Rares, And then went ahead to drop Rare values by releasing old Rares we thought were safe. Note: NO RARE has Callie, under Sulake, retained any real value.

Consider a HC = 60R.D, which it did until six months ago.

Petal Patch, originally valued at 7-9 HCs, which is say, 59 GBP. At a mere 3 HCs, your value has slipped to just 22 GBP. Hm...I bet someone out there isn't happy.

Hologirl. A 2 HC drop; 30 GBP becomes 15 GBP.

Orange Parasel. Assuming it was 9 HCs, that's a 5 HC loss of 37 GBP, making your value in credits worth 29.7 for the 4 HC-valued parasel. (EDIT: This doesn't include other Parasels, sorry)

I can't vouch for knowing what the Disco sign was before it's release, but assuming it was 2T, and HCs being 70 R.D, it was worth 347 GBP, brought to you for 3, yes, 3, GBP.

One last thing before I destroy you with bordom. This doesn't include New Habbo's slip-up of the released Rares in Jan 2005. All values of this are very near, but not exactly, actual credit prices. All Rare values were based on Habbox values and I thank the Rare Value Team for the accurate and constantly updated efficiency of their page. Thank you to http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi for use of the free currency converter. Please, if replying, don't tell me people don't pay this much for the Rares and SRares, I know. I was giving credit values only :)

Thank you for reading :) Any feedback?

i agree about the whole rediculous amount you get when you add it up beause i have tried that before too.

but you have to put into consideration that people dont pay that much for rares. people usually buy 35 credit codes for like 2 hcs right?

so that is 140 credits of furni for 35

so if you ajusted it a little it would be an more accurate value but still high

Thank you for your imput. For me, it is valuable and if anyone has any tips, or feedback, don't hesitate to post :)

Btw "Quote" "Jibbi practically no rare in her reign" "Quote" Is meant to be "Jibbi RELEASED no rares in her reign."

Useful Tip: Don't buy your furni off Ebay, and this won't happen to you. :D

Why is it when I post an article descrbiing callie's flaws ,I get abused and callie's called a Goddess.
I describe the "rares" incident involving every super releases ,and her mass message's about how their being refunded and weren't

But yes ,paying for pixel's is a ridiculous thing I believe.
You can buy a PS2 game which lasts lnoger ,and in the end doesn't get scammed etc..

Sorry, but I find this rediculous. Credits can be bought, yes. However, rares are NOT supposed to be compared with real money, as it is not an exchange rate. You cannot get money from your credits or furni without breaking the Habbo Way. Furni has no equatable real life value - only credit value. Seriously, you have way too much time on your hands, and I would have thought you could have done something a tad more productive than this. Sorry. :(

You should really consider rewriting the entire post, terribly written in my eyes.

Two things though..

The whole speakers corner ordeal you speculated upon is mistakably non-factual. The reason why it was valued as minuscule was because of the Splash glitch that led to the mass-purchase of non-bought credits, not Jibbi's inability to perform with rare wealth. It may of been her fault inadvertently, but not directly. She had no control whatsoever over the situation.

And for the other, more impending notable point... Well, Habbo furniture doesn't, and never did, have any certified "value". The general public are only caretakers or "lenders" of the furniture we gain, it isn't our rightful possession. Habbo own all rights to all the furniture we purchase as soon as we buy it, it's been that way since day one. So there's no real need for compromise over non-existent worth and whatnot.

You know what? You get a lot of people in life like Barmi who see someone whos put a bit or a lot of effort into something, and then they say either that person has too much time on their hands, or needs to get a life. Barmi, the sad thing about you is, you can appreciate anything that anyone does; and when I try and do something that might interest others; you always seem to be there in the front lines, ready to shoot down everything I say. If you read the first post, I was basing it on credit value, NOT the advised "Rares are what you say they're worth." Please don't say sorry as you do it pretty much every time I post.
