My teacher told me that America helped British in a war agenst Germany, and if it wasnt for the US, Britian would have gotten killed! So why do u guys hate the US? U guys probably wouldnt be born if u lost the war..

I dislike some things about America such as the way they bring their young up to be arrogant, I dislike how they handled Iraq and how they constantly lean on otheres for help but never learn from the error of their ways. America participated in WW2 purely because Japan completely owned her Navy at Pearl Habor.

If the USA did not join the Leauge of nations after WW1 there would not have been a second war, Woodrow Wilson was an idealist person who had no clue about peace as the inventor of the leauge to keep peace.The league fell to pieces becuase of many factors, if the USA bothered to help out then it would of stood up to Germany.
And if they did not care about money so much thenmaybe things would be different.

That is just one reason why some Brits sucj as myself might dislike Americans. Not to mention that they some are rude, arogant and pompus.

But that is just some viewpoints, me personaly dislike some Americans bt not all. I have many friends in the USA :)

Oh and just to finish, we do not care about the revolutinary war, at one time Britain was one of the powerfulest countries around, And also American independence shaped a path to the future of trade etc in the world. So we benefit from it so we cant really care much about it.

And the problems with Iran which is coming up will just lead to another conflict just for some oil for economic use for the USA who are using up most of the fossil fuels and polluting the planet.

We've just done WW1 and the repercussions of the Treaty of Versailles upon Germany. Now we're doing the rise of Hitler.

If you wanted to be smart or w/e, you could blame WW2 on the Americans. W. Wilson imposed a democratic government on Germany which was forced to Sign the treaty of Versailles, causing hyperinflation and civil unrest in Germany. Although Germany improve and the U.S invested in Germany, the wall street crash financially crippled Germany and the resulting depression paved a way for Hitler to become leader...

The Americans Didnt like getting envoilved back then, hence why woodrows prediction came to pass. id say its the same sort of mistake thats left them with bush in charge and laws agaist being "annoying"

The fact the treaty was extremely biased didn't help. Woodrow's points were intended for the whole world, not just Germany. I just want to know what Hitler would of done if he had siezed power in 1923...

I don't hate americans, I went to the US last summer, and everyone I met was really friendly.
All that bothers me is the way some americans are very materialistic and superficial, but they are generally nice people.
