New Official Site...Alert Went Out.

Sorry if this is old news, there was an alert sent out so it might be old. Here goes.
A New Official Fansite was added to the List; not on the homepage, YET, but we were notified via Hotel alert. The site is http://www.habtips.com/ and is not all that great; but judge for yourself. I was unable to get a screenie of the Hotel Alert.

Sorry to Neversoft; it seems he has posted this first. Good find Neversoft; and I apologize for overlooking your thread. How come it was closed? It was quite efficient and recent news!!!

As you can see, Its an OFFICIAL Fanstie on Habbo.com. and on the actual site - http://www.habtips.com/ It says "Habtips Brings you the latest news for Habbo Hotel UK and Habbo Hotel USA." So obviously Habbo UK Have decided to make it an Official Fanstie on there aswell. Ok, believe me now? :)

If it was legit, It would of been on the 'Official Fansites' list. it is not. so don't open the thread.

Habbo are and always have been crud at updating sites but an alert went out, obviously before you came online. I could go round the whole habbo community asking, but its not worth it. And judging by neversofts post, he has a screenie.

Well, he closed it of course, but its strange cause Seacat about six months ago posted aan Official habbox News article telling about Blackmaggots joke of the day, which in my opinon was very good :)

Just because it has Habbo Hotel UK News written on it doesn't make it Official on the UK Hotel. Your proof backs it up to be official, but not on the UK Hotel. WHich makes this thread pointless but not to Habbo US users.

It is Official. Alot of people have said that the alert was sent out saying it was official. Log into Habbo and ask the people on your friend list if they revieved the Alert. I'm sure the magority of people would say they did recieve an Alert. :)

Sorry, I didn't actually think of getting a Screen Shot of the Alert as I would of thought everyone would have got it.

Isn't that part of 'innocent until proven guilty' well not really; but just because a Moderator does not believe this; is this to say it isn't true? Yup, I re-read it and Neversoft told me about what happened in greater details which lacked in the first few posts and his topic (I mis-read signals).

To be honest, I don't really like HabTips.com. It has a terrible layout, even if it can be recoloured. HabTips will make a terrible UK Fansite, most the content is for the US. SO I think it is butt kissing Becs that is going on.

Bobbanet.com - Cheated in becoming of Official, was never Officially voted in. But the site in general is good. Although I don't visit it much.
Habbo-Info.co.uk - Ok. Nice layout.
Habbos.co.uk - Was excellent, until pez closed it.
HabboPaper.co.uk - Puts me off, terrible layout which doesn't mix. Not much content.
Habbing.com - Like the layout, takes a while to load though.
V-Habbo.com - Hate it in general. Their staff hiring techniques are lame. I know many good writers and reporters who have been fired for trivial things.

That's all for now, too many fansites almost all have the same content "/

There's a difference, blackmaggot was a Hobba/Sulake Staff, a notable figure having a go at Habbox, it's like Callie saying that Baving smells in her mission :P Whereas if any old Habbo says it, and says it, doesn't have it in their mission promoting it even like Blackmaggot did, it's not really a big deal ;P
