i think its abit to dark (the layout) and i think the news bit needs abit more eye catching colours?

I don't think its good to be brutally honest its really poor.
Use tables not iFrames and try and make it look decent by having the news on the same page as the template or its a waste of a template

There is not a ew big enough for that website template. Try firing your website development staff, get some coders, pixel artists, and it may start looking like a online community.

Why waste your time on it? Plus it would ruin your reputation. Work on something like that and it could give you a bad name.
