They talk to you,
Make friends with you,
Ask if you have Msn,
If you do they ask for it,
They say they want to get to know you,
Ask you questions,
And without realising it, your telling them your secret question for your Msn password.

I am sure that this type of scam has been known in the past. It just reminds you that you should be very aware of who you are talking to.

Thats like the one were they make friends with you ask for your email. Now they have first question for forgot password. Then they say when is your birthday and how old are you. And you say because they might give you a pressy. Now they have these questions they type them in to the forgot the password and steal your furni!

My secret question answers are not related to the questions.

lol, you tell your friends your secret question for your msn password? Why would anybody want to know that question, part from getting your password. But then again, you should never give out msn, it's against the rules and why talk on a chat program, if habbo is already a chat program?

Just always give out fake info and you'll be fine. I never give out my email address but when people ask for personal info like first name, dob, age and stuff, dependign on the person I can just make stuff up. Poeple I truly trust on habbo wouldn't ask for more than basic age, first name and rough area anyway, so don;t give any personal details out in the first place, because if you don't give out an email then it doesn't matter if you tell things like pets and stuff

My secret question answers are not related to the questions.

same here. i have my own way of knowing the answer to my person question without it being the actual answer

(like having the answer backwards... thats not it tho lol)

The same thing happened to me on the 4th April. They asked me what my old msn email was. Then they asked what my favourite film was. Now my old email is 3 years old and I couldn't even remember what the secret question to it was or even if it had one!

:o Always best to be aware, maybe have a separate email to your msn account email which noone knows about, which can be used for habbo, than your pretty sorted. So, if someone does find out your msn password they cant access your habbo account.

Lol i went off topic sorry :redface_b

Or choose a question that would seem really suspicious if you asked. Mothers maiden name is a good one- I mean, why on earth would you ask anyone that if you didn't mean to get their password? But I have that although I put my grandmothers maiden name so that nobody who knows me personally could get it either, because I may have said my mums maiden name but my grandmothers wouldn't come into conversation. Don't ahve a favourite film/book one, because people could ask you that legitimately.

That is good advice but I am sure they have like set questions when you make a new email. I can't remember if you can make your own question.

Because not everyone spends all their time online on Habbo? o_O
