WWE - Changed for the worse?

Well, i used to watch Wrestling, when it was called WWF
(World Wrestling Federation)
I hadnt watched it for ages, but i was flicking about watching stuff and i came across WWE.
I only watch it occasionally, because of other people of my house, guess i have no option!
But, has it changed for the worse?
I remember, when i used to be a fan, that they used to have Hell In A Cells, on smackdown!/RAW. Now they only show them on PPV's, if they show them at all that is.
They've taken away many belts too, such as the hardcore belt, which is a shame...
And many wrestlers have left; The Rock, Rikkish, Brock Lesnar, Jeff Hardy etc....
Its like eastenders now!
They make up dumb storylines.
Like when lita and kane got married
"You killed my baby!"
"You slept with my wife"
Its pathetic.
So, has it changed for the best?
Or was it better a few years ago?

WWE's perfectly fine, The wrestler's that have left are either talentless or are fulfilling their dreams like the Rock [Dwayne Johnson] is in movie making, Brock Lesnar in the NFL, Jeff Hardy.. loser? In TNA, Rikishi many minor injuries.

Their ratings are sky high, VInce is a multi billionaire, the fans are incredibly pleased, so no, it's fine.

Hey,

WWE changed for worse when they decided to mix up all story lines.

For instance Undertaker become the 'American Bad ***' then Kane suddenly having a 'nice' face from being disfigured in a fire.

Then they have legends such as Mick Foley, Stone Cold leave and it all goes pear shaped.

And due to repetition of storylines I refuse to watch it much. As for Royal Rumble 98 with the Casket match Undertaker VS Shawn Michaels where Kane intervened and burnt Taker in the Casket.

They recently did that again with Randy Orton if i'm not mistaken. So it's basically a **** take now.

And Jeff Hardy was sacked for doing drugs.

UnderTaker Storeline stinks
Kane mask storeline was good.
Then all this crap.
I personally think ***** the storelines i'd like to see non rigged wrestling or better wrestling like wwf had so it looked non rigged.
Oh and there ecw and w.e other one was called it was stupid everyone knew vince owned all 3 it was an ok storyline :) for a time

stone cold made a name for the wwe really he gave people something to come back for same with hardcore holy.

There was others that made a man for the inudstries like duggly boys put table matches up there oh and heart brake kid (shan michaels)

WWF was good from a period of 96/2001 and then it went bad. I remember watching a few Raw shows when I was in America in 2000 and the effects were awesome.

But now it's so overated with the whole 'money' making scheme really.

They need to forget about making money with little effort i bet if they put million more dollars into wrestlemania the next wrestle mania they would make it back easily. They need to stop using junk sets ect get some live non ringed events (like outside in and football stadium and have like old trailers rvs cars trees boom trucks ect) dont know about you but i would like to watch more realistic ""street fights""

kane wasnt acctually disfigueredin fire. Infact. Before he was given the character "Kane", if you remeber about ten years back Diesel's (Kevin Nash) twin came to the WWF, then after that story line Jacobs (Kane) became Kane, the Undertakers brother. When Kane was unmasked back in 2003 I believe? Jacobs left the WWE and someone else repalced him :)

then we found out of Kanes "Farther", Paul Bearer that he wasnt acctually disfiguared in fire :)

Got to agree, even just after the RAW and Smack down split it was good, it had good, storylines so to speak, like the sledgehammer thing that happend in eirther 2000 or 2002

Its not that bad nowdays Kurt being Champion.. ;) but it was a little bit better a few years ago but still good now so im not Complaining :)

I don't watch WWE anymore for the simple reason it isn't what it used to be.

WWF, around when Hardy'z , Dudley'z & Edge and christian were battling for the Tag Titles (Wrestle Mani 16) (SummerSlam 2001)

When Stone-Cold & The Rock were battling out for Championships.

Undertaker & Kane working together and against each other.

Those were the good days. But now all the 'newbie' wrestlers are on Tv and is kinda poo now. But they're still making money so they must be doing something good.

I agree WWE is horrible compared to before.
I remember going to Wrestlemania 18 in Toronto, Canada that was one of the best Wrestlemania's ever with Rock vs. Hogan and Flair vs. Taker.
Now look what they have for this years Wrestlemania - Cena vs. HHH and Henry vs. Taker? HENRY AND CENA CAN'T WRESTLE FOR SH*T. :|

i agree as well wwf was well better it was more my style e.g now: they think hitting somone with a chair is brutal. then: wrestlers put there bodies on the line like jeff hardy swanton bomb from a 20 foot ladder putting bubba thru the table. i'm not saying that the wrestlers now aren't under enough preasure but i think wwe has gone a bit soft.
