View Full Version : The Day After Tomorrow
WOW!
Stars: Jake Gyllenhaal (Sam Hill), Dennis Quaid(Jack Hill)
A super-natural disaster thriller, lots of ohhs and ahhs, brilliant film.
Jack(Dennis) is a weather expert and his son Sam(Jake) is a smart kid who travels with his school 'quiz team' to New York, while he is there the world starts to fall apart through tornados and floods, his father sets out to reach him. Will he make it?
Acting: Excellent from all actors.
Highlights: Jake Gyllenhaal! (Pronouced Jill-en-hall) Really hot, but also it's a very gripping movie and very exciting.
Stars: *****

Everyone I heard from said it was really bad. And also, it was WAY too unbelievable. I could believe Independence Day because that was aliens; you can make stuff up. But there is no way there could be an ice age in a few days. It doesnt happen. I heard the special affects were the only thing that kept the movie even remotley interesting. Haha, I was going to see it, but my friends litterally wouldnt let me.

Haha, well by the look of it, I wont follow it at all. By the previews, there was a tornado in a hurricane... that cant happen. Haha, Ill critisize all the possiblities through the movie.
Its an alright film i guess. Teh only cheesy part for me was when that girl was getting the french familys bags and sam runs up and says "Look!"
I mean, Theres a massive tidal wave which is destroying everything in seconds and he still has time to say "Look" :P

Day After Tomorrow is truly TERRIBLE.
The only good thing about it was Jake Gyllenhaal.
It's actually based on a true story...that happened last year (har har, get the joke? I know, I know, I crack you up, don't I?)
Bad film.
