The word "n00b"

The word n00b has really got annoying. in the last year the word "n00b" or newb he been again and again miss used. i got this meaning off the internet


A inexperienced and/or ignorant or unskilled person. Especially used in computer games.

alot of people on habbo have no clue what it means at all. The other day i was in a furni shop and just becuase the owner who was golden hc by the way wouldn't accept his offer he called him a n00b. How is this guy a n00b? unless hes new to gold hc then he is a golden hc n00b.

Us hc people are just as bad anyone whos not got a hc badge is some how a n00b for no reason at all. :@ . I am extreamly rubbish at habbo mazes and get called a n00b when i can't move may i ask again how does this make me a new member of habbo?

it even happens on this forum ive seen someone who joined in November 05 calling someone who joined in Jan 05 a n00b =l

so please please stop using the word wrongly cos its so. annoying =o

I tottally agree, it REALLY annoys me too, I own a furni shop and asked for 1 credit profit and the dude was like Get lost n00b. Tis annoying

I only use the word n00b for sum1 who is new to habbo, like its their first week, or if they are asking for free furni, or if they a blocking the entrance to a room

funny when ppl thinks it insults me. so wot? ive playd habbo for over half a year now =] and i own quite a bit. its strange how they use the term noob when they think ur poor. so wot if im poor? and its even more dumb when they use it when they cant get u to trade with them coz their offer suks... in ur own shop...and den they turn round wantin to b ur friend...its not like its gonna encourage u to trade with them coz they just insultd u lol. and its even worse when ur playin a habbo game. and ur just not very good at it...oh and the funny one is when they own like 10x less than u. and call u a noob lol! its disgraceful how innocent ppl get calld a noob jus coz they dnt understand something or dnt no the latest news/furni.

The word n00b is somisused. People in my furni shop always call me it because I say that I'm not going to trade my hc for their mocha or something. Surely that's not noobish, that's just not stupidity. Or this girl who I thought was a good habbo friend has now started up a room saying I'm a n00b just because I wouldn't give her anything, because she was asking me abusively and is as rich as me on habo anyway. I think the word n00b is a stupuid pointless insult and I have enver called anyone it, because don't people realize that being rude doesn't help anything? But then., I think there's only 1 person I have insulted properly on habbo and that's this guy that keeps comuing on as different identrities (he was on his 6th last time I checked) and asking for a job and then getting abusive when I said no, as I gave him a job at the start and he misused his rites and just trashed my room and kicked everyone.

lol I think the ppl who traded you were being noobish since they called you noobish when they tried and attempt to rip you off. noob is the bad versoin of newbie in my point of view.

TRhere's nothing wrong with the term newbie if used politely. We were all newbies once. In fact, my rating on here still syas I'm a newbie (how many posts do I need to become something else). Worst are the newbie people who genuinely think that rares are 25 creds worth of normals each, whatever they are (I was one once) becauase then you have to be really nice with them, and I normally jusdirect them to habbox and they apoligise. Why do most people end up being rude to new members?
