Final fantasy 10 ending

Anybody else think its the saddest ending ever?

You get to know the charactors tons while going through the game, and you really want them to be together in the end

But in the end tidus has to leave spira and yuna behind..

If you haven't got the game, i would buy it

I have never played any FF games. But that ending was quite sad.
Should I start playing, and at which game?
Its an RPG, right?

I'm not explaining the story, lol. It's way too long, buy a copy of FFX and play it =P

And happee, yes, it's an RPG and theres no where you can start, if you wantto get a feel of what FF is, then play FF7.

It depends on what you're used too... (Graphics wise), being brought up with a SNES/NES/MEGA Drive I'm used to 8 - 16MB graphics and I love FF4 - 6 and then the other ones onwards as well...

My personal opinion on what you should play first would be:

Uh, quite sad. But there has been alot of endings like that and I've never played any of the FF games so its all abit confusing to me.

But it was definately one of the biggest shockers since FF VII...

Lol, FFX-2 was crap.. I mean, i was like *** at the first cutscene. Have you seen the good ending to it?

I fell asleep at this lads house once and when I woke up im sure he was playing a game that looked like that ;s It had a airship and funny dresses, same game?

To be honest, I kind of saw that ending coming once you learn about the "memory" thing...

I never liked Tidus anyway ^_^ Off on a tangent, did anyone else find that the final boss is.. a bit too easy? Went down in four hits for me..

Lol, the last boss was solid. But the FFX-2 last boss was even harder :(

I had fully upgraded celestial weapons, so I was dealing 99,999 damage per hit.. so when I fought Jecht/Sin at the end each form went down in one hit, making the entire battle 4 hits long.. wasn't quite as difficult as Ultimecia in FF8, or any other final boss.

Meh, I never could complete final fantasy 8... Last boss was to hard ;(

I hated the part where you had to kill all the aeons, it was really boring :P

Too true, in my opinion after FFIX it all went downhill.. SquareSoft was a better coalition than SquareEnix.

Ye, But FF12 looks alright. Mainly cause they've got rid of the random battles (YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS)

XII looks good, but I'm not too sure about them taking out the turn-based combat... I'll miss it, and if I wanted the kind of action in twelve, I'd just toss in KH x[

I found the last boss of X too easy, went down in 2 hits for me...you could use Zanmato :rolleyes:

It's the last fight, money doesn't matter :p Just give Yojimbo half of your money, then on the second part, give him the rest. Unless you mean afford Yojimbo...

When i completed it, I had 75k :P

I refuse to buy FFX-2 until I complete FFX. I bet I will cry at the ending of FFX cause I always do cause it reminds me of my own problems

I only had about 80k when I finished it :p Just give him 37500gp the first time around, he should use Zanmato, then give him everything the second time, right down to the last coin, and he should use it again. Then, just that long, tedious, no chance of losing battle :)

There's a way to get absolute shedloads of cash on FFX through making different armours and stuff, so I've never had a problem with that on the game.

If you want a really easy to way to win, just get the celestial weapons and fix them up fully, it's really not that difficult, and then you can do 99,999 damage with everyone - Wakka's attack slot overdrive is a killer after that, 12x99,999.. lots of fun.

FFX-2 is actually very good once you get past the main 'girly' aspect of it.

If you stray from the actual quest and delve deeper you learn a lot more about Spira's past and what happened.
Plus you take more effect on what happens during the course of the game itself.

And Yu Yevon is an easy boss :P Beat all the Dark Aeons and go find Penance. Then you'll learn a true definition of the sentance 'I got trounced' :D

On FFX-2, Vegnagun is fairly easy is you've learnt the special dresspheres' moves. Trema (Via Infinito), Angry Mainyrurhasofda or something (Bikanel Desert) and the Al Bhed Machina Experiment at final level will tax you. the Experiment especially.

FFX-2 when I played it at a friend's house just seemed like a game of minigames more than anything, just with a storyline added in.

There is a story line... But most of it is sub-missions and sub-quests to increase your bar to 100%
