I just got the game... and it isnt all it was cracked up to be... here are my points:

• Not Enough New Items
• Not Enough New Things To Decorate / Use In The Build Function
• A Little Expensive For What ISN'T given...

• ELEVATORS <33
• A Few New Items
• New Clothes and Hair

What are your thoughts?

Ohh, what do the elevators do? I mean I know they go up and down ( :P ) but do you put them in homes and/or business's?

I Know it seems there isn't new items because every thing you make a work benches count as items ( Robots flowers toys ect) I find it really good

What about the awnings Or the new fences?

hmm it's ok! there is loads of bugs and glitches though! I'm well gonna have to download the patch when they put it on their website!!
Also, bit annoyed that it didn't say what the next expansion would be (like a leaflet with the game), like they normally do. Instead it was just a booster pack. grr.

I like the elevators, but the sims games on pc, i dont bother its ps2 and xbox version and hopefuly xbox 360 soon, btw my friend has this game, this is how i found out bout the elevators =]

You are 100% Right DONT BUY THE CONSOLE VERSIONS!

I think this expansion is good, it adds more elements into the game? There are loads of new items/objects! 125 or something like that. If you want to try something on the sims if you are getting bored, may I suggest the legacy challenge? www.legacychallenge.com It's rather challenging ;)

Sims 2 expansions aren't going to be like Sims 1.
Sims 2 is so much more dynamic, and true to life [with the odd exception here and there].

The purpose of Open for Business is to allow your sims to run, and manage their own business and improve their life skills in doing so. I think the game lives up to that expectation.

Of course there aren't going to be new items to decorate your home with, as they're all themed around business and retail.

Yeah, what he said, Anyway i have OFB 2 and its great, its more life like, that u can open up ur own business

It's great! It's the expansion I've ALWAYS wanted, ever since Livin' it up/large was released for The Sims 1! Finally, it's here! You must remember the added effects OFB adds to the game, they can't release so many items when the game already has to add some much. Oh, the Family Fun pack will be released on the 13th April, Worldwide, presumably with details of the next pack.

I play The Sims Online and we already had some of the things in Open For Business. For example, craftbenches and elevators. :)

I've never had the Sims 2 before.
Well I've played it at my friend's house.
It's so expensive here. It's $50!
Well it might be cheaper but its $50.
Anyways, the game's very good =)
