I'm working a random PHP thing for the forum that basically means if you like what someone does you can smile at them, and if you don't you can slap them

What features do you think I should add? And which of the following URL structures should I use?:

1. http://www.lolz.co.uk/slaporsmile/slap.php?id=NintendoNews
2. http://www.lolz.co.uk/slaporsmile/nintendonews/slap.php

Do you think it would be a good idea if with GD I made another thing for your signature that shows the number of slaps etc.?

I suppose number one it is :) I might use "id=1" etc. as it's easy to use with MySQL (I'd do a ID field as primary key with auto increment)

It would look better with the names, and just as easy to do, just dont use a primary key, unless you want data exstration.

Are you haveing a sign up system? (as in u need to register for one) or just a add a name, and if the row doesnt exist for it, it will just auto create.

the second being the easyes, the 1st you need to do a row num check to make sure account didnt already exist etc "/
