At the minute i'm making / editing some skins for the forum, i'm now stuck on this problem and want your ideas.

when there is a new post / thread on the forum there is an image saying there is. i.e on here they have the Habbo consol, when their is new posts/threads it shows they you have a a new message if they were on habbo, but on forums new threads/posts .. Get my drift so far? :8

New threads/posts; http://www.habboxforum.com/images/statusicon/forum_new.gif

Now this is the hard bit, i need some ideas for something like this (I can alter its colour abit..) but for runescape.

Hope you have ideas as i'm just brain dead.

When me and Lewis were making forum..we used phats. White if no new posts red if new posts.

Try like a little text thing saying 'NEW POST' like flashing from red to yellow like on runescape.

and if no post has been made keep it just like, green.

you could use the rs scroll type thing (clue scroll) and put a bright N (light effect) if theres a new post and an N with no light effects if there isnt :).

It's exactly the same as what MAD said, diffrent coliurs of an item.. i didn't say ill have clue scrolls, but i may have something like that. ;)

Also, i asked for that banner about 2 weeks ago. :rolleyes: Lazy sod.
