7;00 am uk time (actually 6;50 but teachers are usually late) and I finish around 3-4pm on mondays ;l thank god I got no school till wednesday.

My school was like that! If we were late, we got punished, but a lot of the teachers were late!
Or they'd start the lession early and say we were late even if we were on time...
I never ever got detention though, which is shocking because I made my french teacher cry, several times.

God knows how I got through it, hardly did any work, still managed to get 13 GCSEs.

Lucky for you having a bus, There was a bus that ran from the road near me to the school but they stopped it 'cause of the bad behaviour on the bus :(

My school starts at 9:10 and finishes 3:25 :p not that bad i usually get up at 8:00 , leave at 8:30 and im there on time for 8:50-9:00 depends on traffic so it's not that bad but if your late more than twice you get friday detention and it includes if we're late for afternoon registration and thats after lunch and i'm on the field at lunch so i'm normally late
