Ok, been meaning to make thread about this all day. Evem on this forum there is a popularity "scene". In my school there's groups of people that get the attention all the time you know most schools must have it, maybe there more lovable or whatever (highly doubt it they are normal quiet snoby) anyway  i noticed over the last few weeks that the popularity stage is quiet bugging for other teens classed as "nerds" or whatever else there is they get picked on my others such as "the popular people" they think they have the power to boss people around as such and think they make the rules of the school. The popular people are either friendly with older people or have older brothers or sisters, the way the teens work today is bugging and pathetic we may look differant, talk differant, act differant but the fact is people think differant and think they are better then others i think its time everyone realises they are equal to one another then just "oh i am better then u i have more friends" in the end they are quiet snoby and need to be put in there place. This may have made no sense to you at all but lets some it up popularity will be here to stay but we need to know we are equals

I'm better than most people, I know that for certain.
You have to have a certain amount of confidence about you to get anywhere in life.

Yeah, it's like that in my school. A group of girls seem to think they own our year. It's because most of the guys in our year worship them, they're goodlooking.
DaveTaylor
13-03-2006, 07:58 PM
Ye good looking girls have that "affect" on people i think they need to learn they use it for the advantage then just to be your "friend"

The popular gang in my school are really just the stupid ones. I go to a grammar school, and i sometimes wonder how they got in. They put no effort into school, and then wonder why they get bad grades. They're no way s**** but they do think they can rule. Really i don't care much, if i treat them like everyone else it won't hurt. Its them who will do worse off, if they don't bother thats their fault when they fail their GCSE's. They do pick on the 'nerds' a bit though.

There's some ***** in my business group who moan if we don't go on the computers, it's stupid. It's like they run the school and when they have a teacher tell them what they should be doing they just have a go and whatever. It's like "shut the fuck up for once!". Me and my mate are like, the only 2 non chavs they actually get one with so... merh.
You don't know what classified means?
I'm guessing.... You go to a private school :P

If someone judges you because of how you look, makes fun of you for the things you do, or ignores you for being someone different, why should you care what that person thinks?

Lmao... I have a laugh with the people in higher years not shout, swear and 'abuse' them. Funny how they always turn out to be the bad guys...
Every school has things like that. 'Popular group' 'geeks' 'normals' and things like that. The people who are popular are usually attention seeking people and in love with themselves.

Theres this one guy at my school. He's such an attention seeker, has to be the centre of attention everytime. It really annoys me.
Im not so sure about groups. We have one, where all the people in the Football first team hang round with each other.
So full of themselves.
