When a thread is started, and it's the first of it's kind, then thats quite good, if they thought of it themselves. Something new is good.
...but if someone posts about something that has already been posted, and gets slated for it, I don't think it's fair.
If for example, someone has posted a topic about favorite songs, and it has died down, and settled at page 30 of "Music" or something, then someone should be able to restart it, using their own topic, without getting slated.
This is a good idea because if the topic has replies of a count as "97" replies, then if you are bored, you want to check new, fresh threads. Unless of course you have subscribed to it as usual.
So I say restart any old threads, even if you care about the supposed rightful owner when they we're just the first.
So start posting old threads, and keep the forum alive. :)

Actually smart-alec, it was a spur-of-the-moment, outburst. I don't care what people say on here, it does not change my life. I take into account what people say, but I do not use it like I love it. I suggest you start to literally, look on the bright side of life.
