It'll take a while, if you dont play it continuously.
Im 75 at the moment, its so worth it.

Unless you really like fishing, it's not really worth it...as fishing sharks take ages. (I timed it at 17 and a half minutes per load once), so it's not the best money maker.
It's good to get it up though, just for the sake of raising levels.

Pretty fast...probably twice as fast, if not faster than sharks.
I find it faster fishing at catherby too...in a busier world...for some reason.

I have level 86 fishing, and I can fish sharks at around 10 minutes per load. Sometimes when I can be bothered I can make a million a day from fishing sharks. It;s one of the fastest money makers once your fishing is 80+
It took me about 2 weeks to get from 1 fishing to 76 I think. =)
