Blackworm Virus

Has anyone heard of it? I've been getting notices that my PC is effected by the blackworm virus, but it's advertisments .. like before, it said I was effected by Spyware, and at the bottom it said advertisment. So, scan your PC regularly! Post anything about the blackworm virus that you know and wish to inform others. G'day.

Erm, the virus installs itself into the %WINDIR% directory as BLACK.SCR.

it was surpose to be a virus that could corrupt any microsoft file, such as .txt .rtf anything really but according to mircsoft they didnt code it properly

As in destorys it? Do they harm your e-mail stuff too? When they corrupt your files, you just lose them? :\

I don't know it really but I think it just like completely freezes them and you can't use them. I'm not 100% sure though

So it was personally created just to go hunt down Mircosoft accessories in your PC? Will it harm my internet in any way?

I have it right now on my computer. It's been on mine for quite some time. Not bothered to get rid of the viruses though. I'm lazy. :)

I have this Zeno search crap on my computer my dad downloaded. As for that I did get the advertisement, thohgt I can't remove the zeno thing.
