What do you think it is, thought this would be a good little thread for this forum :D
I don't really think there is a certain "1" meaning to life there's loads we just dont see them as they happen

As A christian, to live a good and meaningful life. BULL!
I think the meaning of life is to help others. I really want to teach and maybe one of the kids I teach (If i do...) might grow up to cure cancer....

It may be one big test. Also, what happens if there is no 'heaven' and you die. You can't just like 'die' and basically see 'black' for the rest of your time!? Golly Gosh, that would be boring! Anyone agree ;]

So basicaly, when you're asleep. You dont know it, you see black. Like that when you're dead?

I don't think there is a meaning of life, why would there be a meaning of life? We are in some ways still animals, animals don't have a meaning, they just eat, reproduce and die, so why would we have a meaning?
So I agree with Orange, the meaning of life is what you want it to be. If you think it's to help others, then help others, if you think it's to have fun, then have fun. :)

I dno, i mean sum ppl say its just to reproduce yet there is more to life. In my life i would like to get a gd job, husband, have kids (3 or 4) and explore all the countries of the world.

1- When people die, you dont automatically close your eyes. Many dead people have their eyes open, dont be fooled by movies where they close their eyes before they die
2- Your brain is shut off. Shut off your brain, thats what you see when you are dead. Nothing, because you dont think, you dont take in any information, anything.
And it isnt happiness. Read 'Fahrenheit 451', and it explains why the meaning of life isnt happiness. Theres obviously more to the book, but thats one of the main things it shows.
I dont think there is a meaning, as someone said before, its whatever you want it to be.

All dead people have their eyes open, this is because the eyes muscles relax when you die and other people put them close to make the dead person look like he/she is asleep and it makes it look less scary. :)
You see black... but don't know what colour it is!

How about the Themelic - to gain a full and true understanding of one's true-self/true-will through mystico-magickal endeavour.
Or maybe the Buddhist/Hindu - to ultimately break free of samsara and gain freedom from the earth plane.
Or the hedonist - to seek and bestow pleasure; eradicate suffering.
