Creating a pure mage...

Alright, Im pretty much a noob at runescape @_@... Can anyone show me how to make a pure mage? Like what should I wear, what spells i should cast, etc. I play free right now and if i get much better in a couple of months, I might buy member. Thanks. +rep for all the people that helped.

its easy?
Just get mage up alone, leave def, attk, str, range.. and then PK o.O

If your a noob at runescape and dont know how to make a pure Mage then i say train your main account and learn more.

ok
wear like blue wizard robves for f2p and zammy robes for p2p
maily keep at 1 for attk,def,str,range and get up mage
all you do is buy runes and use then to get magic xp
keep doing that then when you have about 80hp do desert treasure and get ancient magicks

Well it is if you have 60 mage :P.

Tank Mages always get 1/3 of thier mage level to defence..

eg; 60 mage = 20 def

99 Mage, 80 Defence is quite good

But 20 Def is just a 20 Defence pure. 60+ is a Tank

Most of the ones i know have their defence at 80 and mage at 99 (just like Jake. Said)

last night at fight pits i saw a lvl 105 with 99 def 99 magic owned all of us so i recon you get like 80 - 90 def and about 94 - 99 magic then do desert treasure ice barage ownage :')
