This week, the hotel is celebrating the Earth Day. Now, Earth Day isn't just ALL about planting a tree, or wearing green: it's a day to think about the many ways we affect the Earth, and how each Habbo can take responsibility for its well-being.
Although activists from Habbo University have been unable to agree on which day would be most appropriate to declare Earth Day, Mayor Orca has declared that we will celebrate Earth Day on the Vernal Equinox, the first day of spring, after intensive lobbying from a group of impassioned squidgy bunnies.
This year, the Vernal Equinox, and therefore Earth Day, falls on March 20. Look out for quizzes, competitions and other neat things we've planned in honour of Earth Day!

The first Earth Day competition has been released: the Peace Room Competition. The aim of the competition is to build a room that you feel best represents peaceful living and unity on Habbo Hotel. Bonus points if your room is in line with other Earth Day principles as well.
There'll be 2 categories for the competition: normal room and large room. One talented Habbo will be selected as winner in each category, and stands to win a month's HC membership and an Earth Day prize pack.
