gahh, yesterday i was on my computer, and my dad needed to do some work, so i let him on, and he plugged something in. and the moniter just went black. the comp lost all power. ive checked loads of times and all the wiores are in. so its not that. and my dads an electrition, and hes checked theres nothing wrong woth the plugs. its soooo frustrating.. so i can only go on for short whuiles on my mums comp, to check my emails etc... gahhh..... cant wait for it to be fixed .. =[ :(

Try unpluging the monitor and power cable from the pc, leave it for 1 min and plug in the power cable first and then the monitor ;P

well, two of the pins in the plug for the moniter were crossed, so i think that couldve cause a power surge... but ill take it in to be looked at =].

also thanks anyone who stuck up for me =]

All you need is a new PSU.

Or if your any good with a soldering iron an new component.
