2 Major V10 Rumours + A Later V9 Rumour - (READ)

Apparently V10 will bring about a new age of room owner power for Habbos.
An aquaintance of Callie's (Name not Stated) has claimed:

- With V10 Comes an alert system only for your own rooms. You can send a limited number of messages through your navigator to the people in the room.
- It's likely that a new 'Room Ban system' will be in place. The current Room Ban system requires you to kick the same Habbo many times from your room. The new one would not allow the user into your room should you specify it.
- Simply more colours of furniture.

I understand the ideas - while great - may only be rumours and I ask you to consider that I am just stating what I've been told by a reliable source, and that these rumours are not nessesarily going to pass.

:O...I bet a lot of people are going to use this post as an excuse to -Rep me, but the Rumour must be passed accross.

If habbo hotel would put these features into play all habbos who get the ban feature would be using it for the sake of annoying people. With the alerts, same situation, to annoy the hell out of people. I for one have now taken a break off habbo and for one specific reason. Habbo is falling apart and I don't want to get near what it is going to become, a disaster.

apparently in v10/v11 you can room ban people.

I work at Diff-x [difficult help] and he once contacted becs via email about room bans, she replied with 'it will be in about a year with v10/11/12' so all of you saying that is untrue it may happen, just in a few years.

The quote about the Habbo Cola was stating a possible fact by Callie talking to Evolution. She said the Habbo Cola would be released, so that part of the thread is un-necessary.

It does seem good, but the only way to find out if it is real or not is when it is released, reliable source or not. You could still fake an image like that (not saying you did) so it is best to wait til Version 10.

Ah, I was unaware of the Cola fact, but I definately believe you about Evolution - he seems to know about everything that comes out. I hadn't heard him talking about it, so I thought it might be a good news/rumour that I picked up from my reliable source.
That source isn't the ex-Hobba mentioned in someone's post, though she was in the room. :)

It would be even better if also coming was the certain rights idea for people in your room. Like opening a gate, moving furniture and kicking Habbos.

Levels of rights would certainly be welcome! How many times have I wished someone could just open a hatch rather than have access to moving all my furniture around?
It would help the Mafias and clubs a lot, as well as casino owners, as rights' costs would be lowered due to very few trashings and less fear of stacked items being moved.

I think room alerts would be really good. As long as they put "Room Owner Says" at the top so people don't think it was a Mod and the bobba filter was used in them it would work great! As for habbo cola being released soon I heard way back it was going to be released early 2006

That is possible. The room banning, alerts etc has been wanted for ages. And the colours of furni may happen and most likely more stickie colours as well.

I'd personally like the Room Alert system. With Room BAnning; one-time flooders and/or new scammers that haven't realized the obviousness of their scams can still come in, and no one would bother banning them, just a kick.
If Habbo DID make a banning system, it would have to be a button (Next to "Kick" or "Give RIghts") for the owner only, and they'd have to make a fair amount of people you could ban.
I imagine with the alerts you couldn't send one every second to annoy people.
And the levels of rights would be the best...I can't wait if they're coming out. Everyone send ideas to Habbo:
"We need Levels of Rights. One level is for opening hatches, the other is for kicking, the last is for moving furniture and kicking."

During V6 people were saying about all these room owner rights coming in V7 so from that point of view i can say that V10 will be no differen.t

However all the features you said have been suggested so many times they have to come sooner or later.

It is true that more powers for room owners is on the agenda for Version 10 to help Moderators ease all the Calls for Help they recieve about people harassing and constantly breaking the rules in rooms.

How ever, alert system is a rumour and is not a useful tool for room owners.

Also most of the rumours you hear on Habbo, arn't true...

This is not true.
A) In the UK Habbo, things are a little different. They don't drink MD, yes, but does that mean an equivilent Rare might not come out?

B) We get an update approximately every 3 months, as the site and others have said, so it's only approximately 2 months till the next update, so if that's far in the future for you I'm a bit worried.
