They're not promoting Homosexual stuff. Hx is just Habbox for short. Many companys do this, and many times there is another thing with the same name.

Well, I don't recall them actually shortening the word. Its what members called it, Eg: HxF - HabboxForum.

Normally we do refer to Habbox.com as only "Hx" but the name Hx is taken on Habbo so Hx.com had to do for Habbowood.
