Theres no such thing as exspanding tables, thats just what noobs who have no idea what there on about call Normal tables... Youd need some pretty advanced css html tricks to actaly stop them exspanding, since thats how there built to work.

Divs are better is a stupid comment, tables are better if you want to store tabular data, Divs are better for position and adhearing to W3 standards in a Css layout.

By not posting them, and makeing exsuses as above, this is the same as refusing. Otherwize post some.

Ok, so you dont know what W3 Standards are is what im getting here? the validators can help you check compliance with them, But the Web Consortum w3 are who write the Dtd's which browser manufuctures should aim to comply with to maximse compatably over any o/s browser etc.
Quirks mode can then be invoked when webdesigners are unable to meet the specs and are then useing obsoleate codeing and old fasiond layout building tecqunies, such as tables.
Which you for no reason call exspandable tables.

And post some exsamples, else i will take that as them no existing or being very crapy and haveing hardly any hits, never lown visitors.

I think most people nominated in this thread aren't. I am slowly progressing to becoming a professional webdesigner, i do alot of work for other websites now that get 10K uniques a day.

To be fair thogh, the majorty of work you suggest is done on a team basis, as in you will have people who specalise in all arias, rather than being a jack of all trades, you got graphics people, coders, useablty testers, the works.
Plus thybag 5 althogh due to its content, will be able to compeate with proffcanly designed layouts on nearly all levels, while complying with W3 and Accesablty standards, with an overhall of graphics.
I plan to make up for the lack of flash graphics via the hevey use of AJAX based systems :D

I know someone who got 50MB of hosting from his computer on Apache, got a new, clean page. Added a picture, telephone number, and 2 site links. He got paid £750 for it.

I'm too lazy to read all this, but anyway; don't insult Carl's spelling as you can't spell yourself (knew? spell check gone wrong?). Furthermore if you're looking for people to help you, then you'll find not insulting them helps. Expandable tables are normal tables, it's a colloquial term arguably used amongst newbies (so I guess they have a point).

I have been designing and coding since September

I am v. good at designing, I can code in HTML, CSS, PHP and a few others

Coding takes me a while, but I;ve learnt them now, and I still hate them.
