Just because they listen to different types of music and dress differently to rockers/skaters doesn't mean theres anything wrong with them. I could understand if they actually did something to you. :rolleyes:

One thing though, you start them, then they start you! I never see chavs just starting people.... Wow, they listen to load music, dress different, drink all the time, smoke drugs etc. WHO CARES?!?!?!?!?!?

In his experience they do, does Craigex know every emo and can therefore say they're all "encouraging people to slice they wrists".

I agree with HP, I find it annoying when they come on the bus acting rude thinking they own the place then play their music really loud. I have nothing against people who are different, it is just when they start to affect the area around me it gets to me. If they did what all my friends do and listened to music with headphones then I would have absolutely no problem, but instead they have it on their phone annoying people.

Also, it's not only chavs who start on people, just as it isn't always mosher/rocker/skaters, it's a mixture of both; some of my mates battered a chav who was out alone for no reason just as a chav crew in my year battered my mate and her bf for no reason.

It's just that no one can accept that it is both parties that cause trouble, we blame you and you blame us. Endless circle mate.

Oh yeah, I also think it is funny when chavs yell at me to cut my hair... as if I am unable to get a haircut/don't know what one is. They make themselves look ridiculous :D

Anyway, rant over. Other than the above I have nothing wrong with chavs at all :)

I dislike generalizing. The way I classify people is if they're stupid or educated- that's it. But I digress...

Anyone who is playing music loud enough so that others can hear it, or enjoys getting attention (whether it be by acting tough or acting depressed) is an issue with me.

Right we all have different music tastes so lets just leave it at that. There's no point arguing which music is better because we all have different music tastes and some music sounds better to others~so just leave it as that.

Yeah their's too many threads on chavs. A few people from what I know on this forum are chavs and they're nice people! We all may encounter a bad time with chavs/goths in our life but hey no need to post about it as other people are getting offended.

I have no problem with most chavs. I just have a problem with hypocrites.

For instance, me and my friends will be listening to rock music through my iPod speakers, and a group of people will walk past telling us to stop listening to that rubbish. Later on, you'll be walking around school, and they will be listening to music blasting out of their own phones.

The only thing I hate about them is that some go around in gangs beating people up and causing general trouble to innocent people who would much rather be left alone. The Chavs like this are complete cowards, they only attack people if there with there mates, if they wern't they would just walk past and not say or do anything.

I agree with Matt. The only type of people i hate is the ones that go around, beating people up for no reason, thinkin they own the place + shouting stupid things out in the middle of class. All that type of person is, is a an insecure person in themselves and they really need to realise that they didn't like it when it happened to them, so why do it.
