Hello,
Everyone has been speculating about the new driver, everyone said DRIV3R or (DRIVER 3) was so rubbish, I was one of the ones that grew to like it, the realistic Effects and driving plus the great graphics altogether were just to ambitous in reality, But they did work, all were great and i still play it now. But of course there were alot of glitches, things falling through the ground usually.
But DRIVER: Parallel lines is meant to go back to the original roots of DRIVER, and it does, but not as you would expect. Its now a cross between GTA and DRIVER 1 & 2. They've scrapped the Take A Ride mode, and opted for a huge New York playing field, and like GTA you have to go and drive to the missions, I dont like this, i wish they had kept the original format. But even so, the missions are so alike to the original DRIVER games. Very fun in other words. Another thing they have scrapped, is Directors mode, which is very upseting as this was a great feature. This game also lacks the realism of DRIVER 3, not that cars floating into the ground was real, but the new DRIVER has a more GTA arcadey sort of driving theme, more real than GTA but less real Crash FX and Physics than DRIVER 3.
In summary, if you buy DRIVER for the missions, you will love this game, if you buy DRIVER for the other features you may be slightly dissapointed with it.
