How long does it normally take for a domain to be set up?

After Buying... It takes as Long for the Nameservers to set up which ranges up to 24hrs

Oh coz i have the subdomain and eveerything is ready i bought the domain 2 days ago and still hasnt come

You have the subdomain? Dont quite know what you mean there maybe explaining a bit more may help.
What company did you buy the domain from because as Lycan said you should have instant control of the domain.

Hmm i think he means he has a sub-domain what's his site already on and got a .com/co.uk etc domain to make it go to that? By Dns.
