I myself picked Numbersixvalverde and the odds 11-1. My Dad put a bet of £1 on, so that means i'll get back £11 if it wins. :)

£1 = 50p each way (in, out)... so £2 = £1 each way...

If he places £2 on NumberSixValVerde on a straight bet (Not each way) at 11-1 odds he will get back £22 pounds winning and his £2 bet back. Also he may have got different odds than you as different bookies have different odds.
