Im currently getting 53 thieving so I can do Desert Treasure on my pure. Whats the fastest way to 53. I just got 5 thieving and I'm about to go to the cake stalls for now. Any tips?

Stick with stalls till you are 40 thieving.
Then start pick pocketing the guards.
I used this simple trick to get xp.

Go to ardounge centre and attack a gaurd.

Run into a nearby house, making the guard follow. Shut the door and run to the other side of the room, making the guard stop attacking.

You can get him stuck in a corner, getting you fast xp and stopping people killing the guard.
