Year 9 Maths Sats

Anyone else here going for a level 8 in maths sats.

My target level set by the school is level 8 so theres a lot of pressure, gonnu have to do a heck of a lot of revising over these hols

I'm In year 6. I have my SATS after the holidays. I'm doing the Lvl 5 paper. In my Mock sats I got for Maths: 5c Science: 4b English: Dunno yet.

at our skl we go in .1 .2 .3 ect...
7.1 7.2 or 7.3 are 7c 7.4 7.5 and 7.6 are 7b and 7.7 7.8 7.9 are 7a

Lol, im doing yr.9 sats after the holidays im in the bottom groups so im only targeted to get a level 5 but in the mock i got level 6 xD

Don't make the mistake that I did. In my mocks I got: 6,7,8. That was my predicted grades, I then stopped like working because I thought "Oh its okay Im gonna get an 8" it happened to everyone who got predicted an 8. In the real one I got 6,6,6.
Don't let it happen to you and don't get big headed :8

Yeah but usually people get lower in their real ones because they think
"OH I GOT A LEVEL 5 I DONT NEED TO WORK"

I'm in yr 8 we do sats a yr early, due to this we're doing 5-7 paper, but i still know lvl 8 stuff neway. I'm not worrying as much about the maths paper. It mainly english i'm not looking forward to. the writing reading and shakespeare.

In year 6 I got 555, in year 9 I got 778. If you don't study hard, you'll only get low scores.
If you've been predicted low grades, don't let that get you down. Work hard and prove them wrong :D.

Ouch... Mine school has scrapped SAT's but if i was doing SAT's i'd be about a level 7

I love how people panick for the SATs... It's really funny. At the time, it's such a big deal... but i've never needed by old SATs results for anything.

They decide groups for GCSE's which could decide what grades you can go for which can they go on to affect what you do in 6Form , so if you think of it that way they can be important :P

I did my year 9 Sats last year.
I did the 6-8 paper as well.
I got a 7 and about 10 marks off an 8.
Only one person in our entire school got an 8 and hes the only one to do it for about 10 years.
