:Dazza

Its a tricky subject.
Who thinks it will mutate sometime soon?
Who knows anyone who has died because of it? :(
What are YOUR thoughts on it?

its unpredictable their not sure it'll mutate but they think it will if somebody who already has ordinary flu catches bird flu so if you've got the flu wrap your self in bubble wrap <3

and i think itll be a while before it reachers here [the swan in scotland was washed up in scotland it didn't die there]

I'm annoyed with the media, they blow it out of proportion.
There all like 'run and cover, bird flu is here'
GAWD, you have more chance of being killed by a giant killer lawnmower!

Thats a toutchy subject, my uncle died from a Giant Killer Lawnmower.

Anyway, I hate to be an anti-media freak, but they blew Bird Flu way out of proportion.

If AIDS is ALREADY a GLOBAL PANDEMIC with NO CURE and HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS infected, why are we so concerned about BIRD FLU?

no there not bothered about that
they want to contain the bird flu atm so it has no chance to mutate but if it does mutate its easier ;)

It's not hard to catch AIDs either?

ilovejordan
10-04-2006, 11:05 PM
harder than to catch bird flu..

Grimmauld
10-04-2006, 11:08 PM
Are you sure? How do you know? It's just recently that it has came, unlike AIDs, which started a long time ago?

:Dazza
10-04-2006, 11:10 PM
We don't know because it hasn't mutated

ilovejordan
10-04-2006, 11:10 PM
yeah but with aids you can only get if you ;

have s'ex with somebody that has it [if their a new partner you should use protection if their trusted then they would have been tested]

Be born with a parent that has it [rarely happens in this country]

Grimmauld
10-04-2006, 11:11 PM
Or commonly, when 2 drugusers share a needle and if one has AIDs, there is a possibility the other user that shared the needle would contract AIDs also.

:Dazza
10-04-2006, 11:12 PM
They will be many ways of catching bird flu though as well.

ilovejordan
10-04-2006, 11:15 PM
yea and its your fault if you use drugs
