I'm one of those freaks who likes reading the Terms and Conditions now and again on various sites. I last read the Habbo UK T&C a few weeks ago... late Feb. / early March time. I believe there have been a few updates.

Particularly this one:

1.5 Habbo accounts, (including any Services attached to the accounts), that are old, unused or passive for six months or more, will be deleted without notification on a regular basis.

There are many more, which you can read for yourself, and because I don't have a memory of stone, can't highlight each and every point that has changed. I'm 98% confident there have been some changed in the past month or two.

Go on... it's a half decent read. ;)

Excellent find, before they wern't allowed to delete Habbos who have purchased services (ie; credits, furni, rooms, hc) but now it says they can if they are inactive!

It doesn't say they WILL definately delete after exactly six months, it's probably for the ones with like iones gifts that haven't been online since 01.

If they have a big account clearout of ones hat have been inactive for 6 months even if they had bought HC or have furni then loads and loads would get deleted.

Old news. This was added about the same time they deleted all those old accounts in November.
How do you feel Barmi...how do you feel :P

To all those Habbos who are appalled at the 'loss of furniture' - Sulake have said they never will delete accounts with furniture and credits on them. This used to be on the FAQ in the old layout - and at the same time the T and C were still 'updated' as they are now.

Yes, I am not just on about this point in particular. A few parts of the T&C have changed. It no longerp links furniture/credits/HC with account inactivity, which was what other people in this thread picked up on. Everyone knew accounts could be deleted... but not even mentioning accounts that have bought credits...?

And I feel that the T&C have changed to cover their backsides even more, should someone hold them liable for something... typical practice.

Thats what I was going to say. Just imagine it though... I'm not super super rich anyway, I wouldn't even call myself rich.

You're right. However it was in a newsie or FAQ in the old layout...they said "Don't worry! We will NEVER delete accounts that have furniture or credits on them :)"

Not if it's stated in their T&C. That's what I don't understand with some sites... the Terms and Conditions are down the bottom of the page, and you are not forced to read them, but you must obide by them. *Shudders*

Nice job picking that up in one of the newsies Lews, but I was only saying that the T&C had changed, not necessarily that they will delete all inactive accounts, regardless of whether they have any purchased content on them. Still, nice memory. :)

Will they delete all permed accounts then? Even if the owner is appealing to get it back?
