Anyone with Common sense can slice alayout, using the "slice tool" it has the picture like the pen tool just go aorund all of the image or different parts of your layout with it, then save to web as images.html or something, then open it up in dreamwaver and code it :)

Just because you might be able to slice in photoshop does not mean everybody else can. So he was doing a good thing by posting it just in case. So why a stupid, stupi dpost like that?

Well it takes about 2 minutes to look over the tools in photoshop to find the slice tool.

Blerg, That's a cheap way to slice. I used to slice like that when I was 13 or so, possibly younger. Its also a lazy way as all you're doing is designing, and lets some rubbish GEN do all the coding in such a bad way.

If you do it properly, then you can also gain experience of creating websites with ease. The way I slice, is I create a "slice" with the selction tool, save it into my folder, and then I code it. Personally, I think thats easier than some GEN do it for you, which doesn't allow you to save images with transparency.
