right , theres loads of people in my year , it really annoys me .. they think they are desperate for a partner and they can't live without one , it's just so annoying , you don't Need one at all .. they don't realise how stupid they sound , 'Ooh i need a boyfriend' .. every single Day . 'ooh i dnt wanna go out with ...... anymore' , it's aload of Crap Lmao!

Sometimes people feel they need someone extra as support in their life. In other cases, they just like the status it gives them when they have a partner (often people seem more attractive when they have a partner, because of the whole "want what you can't have" thing). Then again there are those who just like being the centre of attention, and having a boy/girlfriend gives you something to talk about. Whatever the case, if it makes them feel better I don't see why they shouldn't be that way, however immature it might seem.

It's a sad fact of life that some people need others in order to give themselves reassurance about their status in life.

A wise person once said "if you can't live on your own with yourself, then you shouldn't be even thinking about getting into a relationship with somebody else" because the problem is.. most relationships will reach their natural ends and then the person is on their own again.

If any of these people are offloading onto you, don't let them.. because they'll just drag you down with their own insecurities in the end.

So many people are obsessed with 'going out'. Personally I'd Like a bf but I dont think right now I NEED one. Plus that means I get to spend all my money on me! Lol, not really but my life is too complicated at the moment so it would be more of a hassle.

omg!! i know exactly what you mean!! befor i got my boyfriend i wasnt really bothered wether i had a boyfreind or not and it really annoys me coz now my freinds are like... ur so lucky to have a boyfriend... and im like no coz it doesnt matter :D
