Get a bigger inhaler[you can get them if you think Im being sarcy]

and also asthma reminds me of big mommas house I think it is when he said to the girl you got bad áss.....and then adds thma so he says you used to have bad asthma.

Yes, as Craig said, a bigger input in the inhaler works,

what colour are you using at the moment?
If it's a blue 1, get a green 1. There somewhat smaller, but give you more energy if needed instantly.

If you want it for the long run and are using a light brown 1, use a purple 1, again, it's one up from the brown and gives you a longer, stronger amount. :)

The life of living with a Dad + sister who are asthmatics eh :rolleyes_

If you are on Ventalin I'd say go to the doctor.
He will probably give you flexotide which is the preventer not the attacker (Ventalin)
Taking flexotide will prevent it from happen.
Taking ventalin will combat the attack while your having it.
It is what happened with me.
Asthma is annoying especially the increased mucas production :( - Thats yucky.

urmm good advice, althogh ventalin is a releaver not an attacker? Im not entire sure what an attacker would be other than somthing to make the problem worse "/

I used to use flixotide way back when, but my asma more aless ceased to exist a few years ago, and i havent had any problems since "/

Stealth, Maybe your asthma has gotten worse and your doctor needs to put you on another type of inhaler?

Ive switched inhalers quite a few times. i havent used my Preventer [Brown] In over 2 weeks, and Have had no problems what so ever

Finally, its clearing up and going away

i used to be on the brown thing, which looked like a ventalin (blue) but flixotide is much better, and you dont have to do all the holding your breath crap.. Plus id guess theres problably new stuff avaible now days as well, as its a good 6 or 7 years ago last time i was useing any of it "/

From having friends who have been athsma sufferers I could also recommend that you try doing some lung-strengthing exercises? I don't have any off the top of my head but a doctor could definitely advise you further about this.

A "bigger" inhaler is also the way forward. Good luck.

Im kinda confused what people mean about "bigger" inhailers, The only inhailers that fit that profile, are simply inhancements to make the inhailers easyer to use for younger people, who say cant hold there breath for long enogh for ventalin to work, hence there being the big see threw thing that attachs allowing them to breath in threw that (way out of date knolage bace)
Other than that, i think a far better appraoch would simply be to consut you GP and see if another type of meidcation has better effects, as it has always been some will work on some people, other wont, its just a case of finding one which works for you, as apposed to getting a "bigger" one..

just a thought "/

ps. How would lung streatching exsorsises work? ive never heard of them for athsam before? and it doesnt make sence to me, athma causes a costriction of the tubes in your neck, to to sweeling in realction to dust mites etc. Lunch streaching woulnt help in the sligst as thats not where the problem is "/
At least, not with athsma "/

One of my friends with athsma used to do them, they might not work for everybody. It's always worth asking a doctor for all your options.

umm why reply to my post if your not going to answer any of the questions i asked, or add anything that hasnt already been said?
My question was to How would it help, in the phiscal sence, since lungs have little to do with athssma, its the bronical tubeing, not whether or not your friend whom had athsma did this or not, since youd already stated that in a previos post.. 0.o
