I know a few people who do it because they get depressed a lot.

You don't sniff deodrant, you spray it in your mouth, and its very dangerous and a lot of people die first time. There are ceartin parts in the deodrant that if you swallow or something you will die so many people who do it will put a sock or something over there mouth and spray it through it, as apparently the bad things can't get through then. But never try it, my friend does it so i asked my teacher and a drugs person we speak to about it and they both said it is very dangerous and lots and lots of people die first time.

If your talking about glue sniffing then there is something in the glue which makes you high. You can die as it gives chemicals to your brain or something and makes you high and stops oxygen or something like that. The drugs lady once told us a story that a boy had put some glue in a plastic bag and got very high and the plastic bag got stuck to his face and he died.

People do these as they give you some sort of high affect, however it's such a stupid thing to do.

After having a friend die from sniffing deoderants, I'd say that it was almost definitely fatal and extremely dangerous.

Because there are chemicals/solvents in the products that are not ment to go into your body. I think they starve your brain off oxygen

When I was bout 9 I was spraying deo into my mouth as a dare as we didn't know the dangers of it back then. Now I'm so very greatful that I didn't die or get seriously harmed.

Like jack said some abusers will die on their first try, I would of though with me being 9 at the time I should(:l) of died really.

I can't remember exactly what the effects are but I do know (like eggd said) it freezes your throat stopping you from pukeing up if it does have an effect.

Basicly siffing solvents like Glue / deoderants kills brain cells in ur brain which don't grow back. It sheds skin off your lungs making them bleed if u want pictures serch on google. And it's coke that freezes your throate....

Most solvents won't even give you a 10 minute high, it's an extreme high that in some cases only lingers for a few seconds, which adds to the addictiveness of it. Dangerous stuff, not worth it in my opinion. I have nothing against drugs, it's your choice what you do to yourself, but solvents I really don't see the point of.

And it kinda puts a burning sensation in the part behind your nose and makes you dizzy kind of.

Yes and they can also spray the deodrant into there mouths... That is why they have to cover it with a sock or t-shirt or something to stop some of the particles gettint through. I have seen my friend do it..
