Have you had any burns?

Yeah, this sparked up because last night I was moving my Apple Pie in the oven, and didn't think while trying to move it. I ended up burning the side of my knuckle.
It's now a blister :[

Anyways. Have you guys had any accidents leading to burns/scars?

One on my hand when I touched the oven plate thingy.
One on elbow when I rubbed my arm against the iron and same on the other elbow. The elbow scars are still there. The hand one went.

Plenty, actually just yesterday. Easter with family my mom called me in to take out the roast, and i touched the glass and burned my hand. :'(

Skin was like peeling off my hands, and you could literally see some bone, ~_~. I have like a tiny cast on my left hand right now, and i'm typing with my right. =]

Yeh I had mager burns on my hand when I put my hand on a boiling hot iron to move it not releasing my mum had just done iron and she didn't warn me. My hand had huge blister all over it, not nice. (I was about 12 I think)

I got burnt once when I just went to the bunsen burner in Science and lit a splint so we could use it on our bunsen burner and held it up the wrong way and the flame went up and gave me a burn blister.

I laugh at how stupid it was =D

I did, but not that bad. One of them was at cooking class, I thought this stove (sp?) was cold, but I touched it and got burned bad.

But my other friend had it worst though. She thought the electric stove was off, but when she touched it, it was really hot and got really burned, with marks on her hand too. That was a long time ago, and now the marks are still there.

Erm... i used a lighter ( no idont smoke ) it was windy to i kept close to it and shaved off the top lining of my eye brow :D

Another of mine was when I was in DT, we were making metal figures performing some actions. Mine was just heated up, and without thinking I touched its head.
And boom, huge blister. That hurt soo bad.

Yeah, once I was taking something out of the oven, and I was at a weird angle and the bottom of my wrists (palm side) got burned. I forgot which was the safe one: putting cold water on it or ice, because ice is bad for some burns apparently.

i've got a scar on my finger cause when was taking pizza outta the oven i burnt it, and it all shrivelled up straight away so i ran to the sink and it was sore for days and now is jus my little pink scar :]

i burned my palm on the iron coz i didnt know it was hot and i picked the metal bit up! It blistered and it got bandaged and I could't write for a month... ouch!

Yes I have. My whole hand. It was while I was on Holiday in cornwall we went into a Pasty shop That sells pasty's (DUH!!1!1111) and there was this big sign on the side saying "DO NOT LEAN ON THE GLASS" (The glass that the pasty's were behind.) I didn't see the sign so I just put my hand on the glass and was leaning on it and my hand, bloody hell it was like it was on fire. The glass was extremly hot.

I'll go through the ones i remember.

Once in home ec i was lifting something, and then i burnt my arm. it turned into a blister. my teacher said it'll be fine. I still have an inch long scar and that was 3 years ago.

My other one was in home ec.
I was lifting something with oven gloves and then i got burnt and dropped a tray, just ABOVE where the oven gloves ended i got burnt.
And when i went to pick up my tray i burnt my hand, i tossed everything everywhere when i went to pick up the tray i burnt all my fingers.

Another one was when.. in the house i was fooling around and touched the gas hob thing? burnt all my fingers.

Another time was in home ecc and i accidently leaned my elbow on an electric hob. my elbow got burnt.

I've had many more.. as you cans ee i'm an accident prone person.
And that's only the burns. never mind the mbones broken etc.

and once I was ironing a top nekkid.. well with boxers and accidently leaned too close and ironed a line accross my belly :'(
it stung OMGOSH! now i've got a giant scar all over my belly.. about 3 inchs long.

I've got scars all over my hand and arms and now my belly all from burns? mostly cooking.

I actually fried my head once. I was about 4, and I was trying to reach up for the kettle on the kitchen side, I knocked it, loads of the water in it went over me. It had just been boiled about 2 minutes ago. Ouch.
