The title is self-explanatory.

My mum and stepdad like a bit of everything really, ranging from R&B to Phantom of the Opera. My sister like R&B and Pop, namely the likes of Jamelia, Hilary Duff and Destiny's Child. My brother likes EVERYTHING. On his PC he has albums from people like 50 Cent, G-Unit, System of a Down and Slayer. No-one really likes my screamo/hardcore music, but I like indie stuff too, my brother got me into Rage Against The Machine and Coldplay.

I have a musical family in general.

My dad started me off with some old stuff; Queen, Beatles, and I got my own taste from there. You guys know it.

My brother likes some of the same bands I do, but doesnt really 'know' stuff about music. He was always more into sports so my dad didnt really play stuff for him since he didnt really care. He has a taste, but isnt as big into music as me. He OBSESSED with Bush most of all. But he likes other stuff like Coheed & Cambria, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Alien Ant Farm, Old Green Day (Like me), Sublime, and Taproot. I noticed that lately he is trying to find some unheard bands which is good. He used to hate anything out of date, but now he is starting to get into stuff from the 90's thanks to his love of Bush. What kick started him (and me) into music was Jimmy Eat World's album Bleed American.

My Dad is REALLY into music, although you wouldnt know it if you saw him. He has thousands of records, and he converted all of them into CD's over the coarse of a year. He has an eye about seeing talent and who will be big. He was into Bruce Springsteen way before anyone else, and is still a huge fan. He liked R.E.M. before they even had a hit. Hes got everything from Led Zep to The Cars to The Specials in his colection. Recently though, I have been trying to get him into some newer stuff, some I have, some I havent. Ive gotten him into Coldplay for one, now he's a big fan. Last year when I got In Your Honor by Foo Fighters, I asked him to try to get them onto my MP3 player (copyright protection stuff), and while he was doing it, he came across some of the songs, and he liked it. Even though most of it was the second disc, he liked some of the first disc as well. I have yet to play him some of the older stuff he'll like. I got him a little bit into Modest Mouse, but he wasen't very pleased with some of the swearing. He like some of The White Stripes as well.

My mom is a bit weird with music. She likes almost everything my Dad likes, but some more. She loves the album Dookie by Green Day (no clue why:p), a select few Jimmy Eat World songs, and she heard Death Cab For Cutie on the radio and liked it.

My mum thinks shes cool because she listens to the top 40, most of which is rubbish. My dad is still living in the 80's. My brother listens to rnb/hip-hop. One of my sisters is an indie kid (she like everything really though) and my other sister listens to everything also, but mainly rap.
