My first ever layout!

Umm, i've never tried to make a website layout thingy before, so this is my first attempt, which is probably quite obvious as it isnt exactly fantastic.. xD So, I dont like it, it looks a bit nooby and "in-yer-face". I dunno why I bothered water marking it lmao, just felt like it :P Here it is - Anyone got any ideas or comments?

Yep thats what I thought :( I tried making in a plain square, but it didnt really fit with the whole layout.

Yea i agree... all of it seems very ... round

Its a bit small, theres not realy any space for content, Plus you need to make the box sizes the same, maybe not in width but in lengh to give a better feel of simatry and design.
