Right, I looked at all the files in my LIMEWIRE library, selected them all, and pressed 'Delete' thinking it would only delete them off limewire, but it deleted them from my system and they're not in the recycle bin. x_x. I've lost tons, and I'm real pissed off about it.

So, I attempt to get technical support from the official LWire website, and get this.

In this page you will find resources to learn more about LimeWire. However you might need personalized assistance to improve your LimeWire experience, obtaining this help requires you to become a LimeWire PRO customer (http://www.limewire.com/english/content/questionpro.shtml).

You have to pay for technical support? Pah. What a loada' crap. So now this stupid program has deleted all my files and it is now making me pay for help. "/

Ahahaha.

The Limewire hath giveth and the Limewire hath taketh away.

The files in your Limewire directory are linked directly to your folders, meaning, whatever you do to your files in Limewire will happen to them in your folders.

It was free music and complaining just makes you sound whiny. x]

Anyway to restore them?

Anyway to restore them? i suppose you can download a file restoration program, *pay* for it, and retrieve your files.

You should thank Microsoft for that- the files don't really get deleted, and they're still there unless you manually shred them.

Anyway, download the program and restore your files.

Here's my suggestion, Not sure if it will work though.

If you use windows XP you should have a restore point(last known good configuration) This should have a backup of all these files at the date it was created. You could try doing that because in theory it should restore all your music aswel at that date.

Let me know how you get on.

Windows Restore only restores system files, not personal files.

Adam, you get better support through LimeWire PRO. Have you thought of downloading LimeWire PRO from Limewire Basic? That's what I did, and PRO is so much better. =]
