I just saw this but didn't know whether it was old. You have been able to do this for a few days via international hotels however nice find.

Who would go around wearing a t shirt saying LOL or n00b on it. The designs are really bad.

Edit: We are the first English Hotel to recieve this promotion so no one will ever have any reason to say in the future that the UK Hotel gets nothing first.

Bah, you got it first. So that's how you get the oriental furni. Same as other hotels...

well I posted it first on this UK forum and International forum but then they weren't much related to UK as it wasn't even on UK yet. I was just guessing that it would hit UK.

btw: you get two oriental furnis as a gift (costs 13 credits) (red knots and the chinese sofa) after you receive the clothing :) I'm not sure if that's the case on UK tho.

It does say worth so and so credits... perhaps they will release the furni once the promotion has ended, it seems only fair...

£2.60 worth of furni. ;) 26 credits, because you get two pieces. :P

I must say, they are a bit overpriced... unless they are really high quality. You can buy a cheap T-Shirt from Tesco and use some iron-on transfer paper, printing your favourite design on it. When it fades, you have enough cash to do it 2 or 3 more times. Personally, I won't be buying from this merchandise shop, but the novelty will appeal to some. I do think some of the designs are rather funny, but some look plain stupid.

I doubt people will get beat up for them, because the designs model a retro gaming style, which is quite popular at the moment (although I have none myself). My friend has a few Nintendo ones. Yes, some designs are stupid, but a lot of them are thought out, and are purposeful. They won't appeal to all audiences, naturally, but you can't blame Habbo for trying. It's like the Mobile shop (which I again thought was overpriced) - some people will impulse buy at first, which will make up the bulk of the initial sales, and the sales will start to decrease. Obviously, they will still make sales, but very few when compared to the number they will make within the first few days, while the novelty holds strong. Methinks they will use more promotions to encourage people to buy, similar to this one. They've tried it with Habbo Mobile, with the free credits. Ah well...

this is more than a promotion, or sponsership, the new store should be around for a while. Spreadshirt are like cafepress both offer clients to open shops and sell their products but with custom designs and such. They don't take much to open, anyone can do it, even habbox ;)

For anyone interested miniclip also use the spreadshirt service for their store.

I buy clothes from River Island. Does that mean i live River Island? I shop at Tesco, does that mean i live at Tesco?

I'm fed up, in Callies new room with all the oriental furni people were asking how to get the new furni so i explained that if they click on the banner on the homepage and buy a Habbo product they get a deal poster and the new sofa and instead of thanking me they were all like w/e u scamma.

Roflmao, but why is everyone going nuts about this?

You can buy Neopets shirts, and people seem to love them. I'd like one of those shirts with a skull onit.

I don't mind the shop, it's a good idea. I just don't particularly like the designs. The one with the three skulls in a row I don't mind, and I'd probably buy it if it were a cheaper price.

They're summing up to be around £14-20 with p&p. (the price depends on the item you're designing). The plain tee shirts are the cheapest I think for men; and the long sleeved two-toned is the most expensive (and best). :(

The prices aren't really Habbos fault though, they're just using the service. Spreadshirt should really revise their prices, there's no way an average teenager would spend £20 odd on a t-shirt from some website.

I want one that says "i bobba you", habbo isn't known very well in the USA, and wearing something unique would be nice.

Who in the right mind would wear them?

I would only wear them t-shirts if I was paid to do it, but even then I'd be hesitant to do it.

Why do you buy habbox VIP (they are not getting anything out of it? Why buy credits/coins? Why do people dress emo? Why do people act like chavs? Why do people think "goth" is cool? Why do people cut themselfs?

I would "/ its not like some spongebob/nickelodeon crap. I really like how they have the whole "customize" your item, also you can embroyder (personalize it). I think its a fun its a great idea...

Naay... they got it from the Habbo alt code for skull. I daresay they have the font and resized it, which is all that Kr00z did. No ripping involved...

And yeah, it's nice to see they haven't Habbos on there - makes it appeal to a more mature audience.

Whoever said "who in the right mind would wear them", who in the right mind would slit their wrists, as stated above. Who in the right mind would walk around in black heavy clothes? Who in the right mind would walk around in a tracksuit 24/7/365? Who in the right mind would have homosexual tendancies? There are a lot of individual people in the world, so would you have a go at anyone who doesn't fit your idea of "normal"? There are quite a lot of websites at the moment selling T-Shirts of a similar style, and they don't get criticised. Again, they won't appeal to everyone, but why is someone "not in the right mind" if they buy one? I won't be buying one, but why is it wrong?

Will they do seasonal clothing items?

Tristan

I doubt it. People pay money for the t-shirts and get them so no i don't think they will be released. That would be unfair to the buyers.
