This is quite a useful site. It tells you british slang words and also what we usually say instead of Americans and how you spell things.

Drop the 't' in words such as 'water' and drop the 'h' in words that begin with it, such as 'house' and 'hello'

If you want a posh English voice, watch an American film with an English person in it.
If you want a real English voice, watch an English film with English people in it. Films like Football Factory, Snatch, LockStock And Two Smoking Barrels, Layer Cake etc., they're all good sources of your average Englishman, and most of them have other British accents too (Geordies, Scots, Cornish) but you'll be hard pushed to find a film with the whole lot.
