I personally like the Sara book the best... It's true a shield gives you more defence, but they hurt your mage too much if that's what you're going for.

Yay, I got Sara. I would get Zammy maybe, because it looks better, but then Id have to go get a Zammy staff and cape as well, and its too late I got Sara Cape and Staff.

You can get all the books anyway so it doesn't really matter. Once you've filled your sara one I think you can pay 5K for one of the other two's book.

You can always change what god you want aswell, kjata. All the staffs are available to be bought and charged, the cape can just be dropped, then you can go pray at another god. So fill up your sara book and turn to zammy.

I have all the books...and it depends what you want it for...
I usually use sara book for barrows, because of the +5 prayer and the defence bonus (which is useful while running through the tunnel)
I only got guthix because I couldn't afford anything else at the time.
And I got zammy for no reason at all...because I had two zammy pages from clues. Zammy is good for maging monsters in safe spots, because of the +8 magic bonus.
