It seems since this "habboexpose" has started Redtiz has wrote a page about it on the Help & Safety section.

Did you know it's against The Habbo Way to share photos of yourself?
http://images.habbohotel.co.uk/c_images/album238/bonnie_blond_photo.gifMany Habbos have digital copies of personal photographs and it’s quite tempting to show them to your Habbo friends. You’re probably wondering what the harm is in emailing off a pic to that cute Habbo you’ve just met to show them how hot you are or, perhaps, starting up a webcam chat on MSN to check them out too.

What’s the harm? Well for one thing, in order to show another Habbo what you look like, you’re probably going to have to swap an email address or MSN details. Not only is that against the Habbo Way, it’s also left you wide open to email hacking, password phishing, exploits and malicious code being sent to you via MSN. The Habbo who seemed desperate to see what you looked like may actually be desperate to break into your account and steal your furni.

We also get a lot of emails from upset Habbos who are being bullied and harassed. Why? Because they’ve trusted someone with their photo and the next thing they know it’s been passed round the hotel and has ended up on a website, often with a lot of nasty things being written alongside. Those upset Habbos then come to us and ask for help, but the sad truth is that it’s really too late because Habbo has no control over what’s on other people’s websites and the only person who could have prevented this horrible situation is the victim, by not giving out their photograph in the first place!

So before smiling for the camera, stop and think what could happen to that photograph or webcam image in the future. Think about who it may be given to and where it may end up. Nobody wants to see their photograph on a website with lots of people saying nasty things about it; that’s very upsetting. However if you make sure that the only face people see is your little pixelated Habbo face, you can be confident that you’re safe from being the star of a nasty hate site.
